Bears for BooBoos, Inc.

The Connor Fenton Memorial Scholarship Fund has formed a commitee. It consists of 11 of Connor's friends. The committee will organize and work at all the fundraisers for Connor's scholarship fund. Everyone on the commitee is very responsible and will take this job very seriously. We will keep updating this website with information about the fundraisers.

Maybe you know someone who is sick, lonely or sad. Maybe a bear would cheer him or her up? Maybe giving them a bear would make them feel safe and comfort them a little bit? If you think so, please contact Bears for BooBoos and we will ship a furry friend to them. Please provide the reason for the request and the recipients name and full address. Don't forget to let us know why you are requesting the bear because we will send a card as well.

As long as people continue to donate bears in memory of Connor, Miriah will continue to give them away. She considers it a blessing to have been friends with Connor, and prays that a Bear donated in honor and in memory of Connor will bring peace and comfort to another in need.

The 1st Connor Fention Memorial Scholarship Wiffle-Ball Tournament was held on Satuday, August 6, 2005 at Cannon Park.

Seventeen teams showed up to display their "wiffle-talent" and helped us raise $2486.53!! That makes a total of $7530.65 that is currently in the scholarship fund.

This scholarship will be given to a graduate in year 2011 from Carterville High School. Connor's classmates really pulled together to help make this day a success and I am so proud of you all. A special thank you goes out to Mr. Peterson, Samantha Hale, ALL of The Napolean Dynomites Team, wow...Women of Wiffle, Haley B., Jeffery B., Andrew G., McKenzie, Macey D., Kelly "Ski", Shelby, Hannah, Peyton, Ashley,The Outlaws (great sportsmanship to your team!), the participating parent's of the CHS Class of 2011, and the rest of Connor's family & friends and Miriah's family & friends that helped make this day a HUGE success! (If I forgot you...SoRrY...
